With much of the world's population is now a dead horde, R is a young and strangely introverted zombies. As he struggles with and feeding on a human treasure celebration, R meets Julie and feel the need to protect it. What happens next is the beginning of a strange warm relationship that allows R to start to regain his humanity. As this change was spread among the local population died as a virus, Julie and R eventually face a serious problem when the very nature of their friendship is challenged. Caught between human forces and paranoid Bonies beasts, zombies, there is a mutual threat, R and Julie must find a way to bridge the differences in each side to fight for a better world, no one thought possible.
